The
FCC's new EEO Rules require broadcasters to
complete several "non-job vacancy
specific" activities. One of the required
credits may be obtained by station
participation in four Job Fairs. In order to
receive credit, the station personnel
participating in the Job Fair must have
substantial responsibility in the making of
hiring decisions.
The following listing is provided solely for
informational purposes. WSAB does neither
endorses not recommends that a station attend
a Job Fair listed below; nor, guarantees that
any of the Job Fairs listed below will fulfill
the FCC's requirement. It is each station's
obligation to contact the promoter of any
specific Job Fair to determine its
applicability.
If you know of a Job Fair in your area,
please let WSAB know by e-mail at sandiewsab@earthlink.net the date, location and sponsor
contact information, and we will be happy to
add that listing to the Job Fair Schedule at
no charge.
