31 DEADLINE for distribution of IRS Form W-2 to each employee and Form 1099 to every individual or firm that served as an independent contractor to the station that was paid more than $600 during the previous calendar year.  Form 1099-Misc. must be sent to winners of station contests with prizes valued at more than $600

1 FILING DEADLINE:  WASHINGTON TELEVISION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATIONS.  Washington full-power and Class A television stations must electronically file their applications for license renewal on FCC Form 303-S along with their Equal Employment Opportunity Reports on FCC Form 396.  Commercial stations must promptly remit their renewal application filing fee.  Both Forms must be placed in the station’s Local Public Inspection File.
1 TELEVISION LICENSE RENEWAL POST-FILING ANNOUNCEMENT:  Full power and Class A televisions stations in Washington must on this date air their post-filing renewal announcement #1 in accordance with the FCC’s regulations.
1 FILING DEADLINE:  ANNUAL EEO PUBLIC FILE REPORT.  Each station must place in its public file (and post on the station's web site (if it has one) a report regarding station compliance with the FCC's EEO Rule.
1 NON-COMMERCIAL TELEVISION FILING DEADLINE:  FCC Form 323-E Biennial Ownership Report Due.  Non-commercial television stations licensed to communities in Washington must electronically file their biennial ownership reports on FCC Form 323-E and place a copy in the station’s Public Inspection File.  There is no filing fee.
1 MUST-CARRY ELECTION:  Every three years commercial television stations with must-carry rights are required to elect either retransmission consent or mandatory carriage on local cable and satellite systems for the upcoming three year period.  By October 1, 2014, such stations must send their election notices to affected cable and satellite providers, which will govern the station's carriage for the period from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017.
